Painted at the end of the summer with not so many people around, Constantine Bay takes on quite a different atmosphere; when there is the possibility of a long walk without the chance of falling over yet another windbreak. One child I met, who watched me painting for a long while, told me he came to the beach to check that the shark’s fin was still there and was pleased as punch that I had painted ‘his’ island and now that’s how I see the Bull too.
