Every now and then when I am out painting, plain luck provides some wonderful subjects. On this particular day, a family set up their tent close to the sea, all the others were on the dry sand by the dunes. The tent was backlit by strong sunlight and the transparent green fabric of the tent lit up like an emerald and gave me a title for my print.
