Perched up on the cliffs all day, painting, I sometimes get quite engrossed in what the people on the beach are doing, as well as taking notice of how the moving sun is changing the shape of the shadows among the rocks. Here I noticed a family carrying their very large canoe down to the sea, the little fella at the back desperately trying to add his bit to the parent’s effort.
