This watercolour shows Thurlestone Sand long after the summer crowds have gone; a lovely breezy day with Bolt Tail off in the distance and Thurlestone Rock on duty as always. I am particularly pleased with the play of light on the sea and the sense of air and space which is exactly the kind of atmosphere I was trying to suggest.
