Camped up at Fishing Cove Field Daymer Bay, it is always interesting to note how the tides have shifted the vast expanse of sand over the years. At one time, a few years ago, the sand dunes at Rock were clearly visible from here, now they have gone and all that sand has formed a new long ‘horizontal’ bar on the far side of the estuary which can be seen clearly in the painting.
