December 2011
After a heroic arm wrestling match with my computer the website has been updated again . In particular I have added a number of smaller pictures in respones to requests from collectors who simply don't have the space for my large paintings
December 2011
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people who bought work from my website during 2011 and to wish them a very Happy Christmas and New Year
Watercolours by Mark Gibbons
Mark paints Westcountry landscapes, mostly in watercolour and often directly from nature. This site offers an opportunity to view and buy some of his latest work and to find out about the galleries that show his pictures.
Mark started painting as a way of recording sights seen in the years he spent travelling the world after graduating from university. On his return to the UK he settled in beautiful South Devon where he decided to take up painting full time, improving and honing his watercolour technique by studying the work of watercolour masters like Turner and Cotman.
