This picture was painted while I was down on the beach at the beginning of the summer (2021). It was great to be out again after lockdown and I loved the warm breeze giving life to the bright life guard flag and the waves. What I loved slightly less was having to stand to look over the top of all the windbreaks which gradually blocked my view. Thankfully I am a painter and not a photographer so I left them all out while keeping the sunlight, the breeze and the kids playing beach cricket.
