Mother Ivy’s Bay is tucked in on the eastern side of Trevose Head and with the help of Merope Rocks it provides an almost perfectly sheltered spot for the new lifeboat station that was completed in 2006 and which is now the home of ‘Spirit of Padstow’. The view is from the coast path just as it skirts Mother Ivy’s Caravan Park which must be one of the most beautifully situated sites on the North Cornwall Coast.
