Evening light at Treyarnon can sometimes be quite wonderful. In this painting I have tried to capture both the quality of the light towards the end of the day and the lovey ripples in the sand, left by the falling tide. The lone surfer with his white boogie board and its long reflection provides a pivot for the painting to balance around.
