I painted this sitting on the beach at Constantine Bay at the end of June and was very pleased I had my windbreak guyed, with anchors in the sand, to protect my venerable old fishing tent. It was a fine sunny day but the wind was whipping in off the sea making it a real challenge to paint and I needed every ounce of Blu-Tack I had with me to keep my paper attached to the board. I am please I stuck it out as I think the painting has captured the feel of the day.
