Paignton has a tiny harbour with strong sea walls tucked into the shelter of Roundham Head. This painting is a picture of tranquillity with a sailboat heading out of the entrance for a day’s sailing in the bay. Thatcher Rock and Ore Stone are just visible in the distance.
