This tranquil scene shows a gaff-rigged day-boat ghosting down the Avon towards the sea, which is just around the bend in the river. The thatched building with the red door on the left was built for Henry Jenkins in 1912 on the site of the old ferry keeper’s cottage, and very picturesque it is too.
