This surely must be one of the loveliest natural swimming pools in Cornwall. I painted it, sitting very close to the edge of the cliffs where I could easily hear all the swimmers having a really great time.   By the end of the day however, the rock pool had disappeared completely having been submerged by the incoming tide and spray and foam was being blown up the cliffs and over my tent. Home time.
