There have been  two reasons for this ;one, I have been very busy on my small-holding building a new woodshed and that just had to be completed before the winter (and with the current biblical deluge I'm very glad I persevered) and the second is that I have been learning to manage the website for myself . This is no trivial matter for someone who would rather do almost anything, than switch on a computer . I must say the whole experience has been illuminating ;it was rather like building a car from a kit before actually getting in it and driving  away.!!        Anyway from now on I should be able to update stuff,as and when needed and I have 'unclogged' the site of old sold pictures and added a lot of  new work .The new stuff is now at the top of each.page and  I have also added some smaller pictures to give more choice . I hope you enjoy the new work and if you have any advice about improving the website plaease get in touch.  ----Mark.... I have removed a lot of work that has been sold and added a lot of new images . In particular I have included some smaller paintings  in response to a number of collectors who simply don't have the wall space availabe for my bigger paintings.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who bought my pictures  (from galleries and the website) during 2011 and to wish you a very happy Christmas and New Year    ....
