Small Shallow Oak Bowl-Ref 47

This is a very simle 'pure' form with no separate base or foot , it simple rests on the broad base of the bowl .It was turned from an oak tree that had been down for years and the wood was pretty much seasoned and as such it dried almost perfecly round. I have added two thin 'burned' lines below the rim which lift the form and fit well with its simplicity .
