Afternoon, Mill Bay, Salcombe  LF11-54

Mill Bay is one of the small sandy coves across the water from Salcombe.I have painted the scene with the low late-afternoon sun glinting on the sea. In the distance a gaff-rigged boat is ghosting home on the light breeze and on the beach a family is hard at work constructing a giant sandcastle; summer at its best!
