I apoogise for not updating my website for quite a few months. There have been two reasons for this ;one, I have been very busy on my small-holding building a new woodshed and that just had to be completed before the winter (and with the current biblical deluge I'm very glad I persevered) and the second is that I have been learning to manage the website for myself . This is no trivial matter for someone who would rather do almost anything, than switch on a computer . I must say the whole experience has been illuminating ;it was rather like building a car from a kit before actually getting in it and driving away.!! Anyway from now on I should be able to update stuff,as...

An exhibition of wood turning by Mark Gibbons
6th July - 28th August 10am - 5pmpreview Sunday 5th July 18th 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Woodturning is a completely new venture, much of the wood is turned 'green' and then allowed to dry into its own organic shape; the tree adding its own curves to the final form.
The Exhibition is at
NORTH CORNWALL MUSEUM AND GALLERY,
THE CLEASE,
CAMELFORD.

Most of the pictures are on the theme of water using the medium of watercolour and many of them have been painted around the North Cornwall coast. The woodturning is a completely new venture, much of the wood is turned 'green' and then allowed to dry into its own organic shape; the tree adding its own curves to the final form.
